Some other copyright services do not store a genuine copy of your work. Instead, they provide you with a digital fingerprint of the file that you submit.
In this system NO copy is made of your work, but you receive a computer generated checksum of the file. You are supposed to store it yourself.
However, if at any time in the future your file gets lost, corrupted or damaged in any way, it will not match exactly byte for byte with the registered key.
There will then be no proof that the registered key belongs to that particular file.
With Copyright House, when you submit a file, you upload the entire file into our secure system. We keep an exact copy of the uploaded file and store it on more than
one storage device in different geographical locations.
Every 3 years we also make an extra backup of all registered works to ensure that your copyright submissions will always be retrievable. In the case of a dispute we
can provide an exact copy of your work to support your claim of copyright.

The good news is that we not only keep a genuine copy of your registered work, but we also provide you with a SHA-2 digital fingerprint. The digital fingerprint is printed on your certificate and stored securely, together with the real copy of your work, in secure data safes. Therefore you do not need to worry about losing the digital fingerprint or the registered file at any time in the future. We can take care of that.
